A Little Bit of History
The National Association of Riding Clubs and Sheriff’s Posses was formed by ___ families in 1970. The families had the desire to try new things and an open mind that just because it has always been a certain way doesn’t mean that it can not change. Forming the NARC&SP these families began a legacy that is still going strong.
The National Association of Riding Clubs and Sheriff’s Posses is a non-profit organization that is composed of Districts and Riding Clubs in the North Texas / Dallas Fort Worth area. The association and its members are a friendly group of individuals who have a love of the equestrian world. Everyone from novice to pro is welcome to come out and join us at our events. We have various age brackets from Assisted class (those that need help to ride) to Classic (55 and up).
During the year the association hosts events such as playdays, barrel races and trail competitions to raise funds for various causes such as scholarships for graduating members.
This year, 2020, the association is celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The past 50 years has brought some amazing times, great memories and countless friendships formed. Here’s to another 50 years!
