Thank you to Joshua Riding Club for hosting finals.  The arena ran great, as usual.

 The weather was iffy for a while.  I received many phone calls about surrounding rain.  I think it rained everywhere except Joshua.  We had 2 Jr. Teams, 3 Timed Teams and 3 Open Teams.  Kudos to …..Bonnie Gilmore for announcing and to Jacqueline Kuykendall for time keeping all evening.  I also want to thank Barbara Bird for collecting money at the gate and to our flag carriers Brandi Earl and friend Taylor.  Ladies you looked great.

Special recognition goes to Tina Nolen, Pepper Kuykendall and David Short for judging. It is not easy being a judge.  Being a judge at Pony Express Finals is a “HOTSEAT”.  Pony Express seems to bring out the emotions and opinions of everyone.  These three (3) people were chosen because of their dedication to the NARC&SP, their morals and their fairness to and for everyone.  It takes a lot of effort and teamwork to host a tournament and again                       thank you to everyone.

After two (2) years as Pony Express Chairperson for the NARC&SP it is time to “Pass The Bags”.  The Convention is coming up soon….who is interested in the Chairperson role?
