District One - October 2004

Finals were a huge success for us.  All three clubs pulled together (as usual) and hosted finals for the third time.  We received many compliments through out the Finals weekend.  The American Association said we maintain the grounds better than they do….they welcome us back again next year..  Are we up to the challenge for a 4^th time???

The District Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, October 31, 2004.  This is Halloween day so make plans to attend the banquet in costume.  Details to follow on the website www.narcsp.org.

Due to the rain the Queen’s playday was rescheduled several times.  The event was held after finals and many attended.  Our own members, Shannon Race (NARC&SP Queen), Sarah Manning (District 1 Princess) and Lydia Morris (Midlothian Saddle Club Sweetheart) looked great and performed the drill in great style. 

This is really the Last call-----If anyone is interested in running for District One Royalty for the 2005 year…contact Beverly Morris.  She has done an excellent job of outlining the duties and activities so everyone will know and understand what is required of the office. 

Year End planning will be upon us before long.  Please consider running for a District Office or Committee Chairperson.  There is no better way to get involved than to be involved.
