District One - March 2004

March flowers bring May Showers----it that the saying ??   We have had our share of rain for a while.

We had some brave souls commit to riding in the Stock Show Parade come rain or shine.  We were very fortunate to have shine instead of rain.  The showers stopped Saturday morning just in time for everyone to get the horses ready; the boots shined and get in line.  Our District One Princess Sarah Manning looked stunning in her District One Red.  Thank you to Dustin Essary for carrying the District One flag.  Our District One President, Billy Manning, thought it would be a bit much for his two-year-old stallion to endure the parade and a flag.  We saw lots of District One members supporting us as spectators from the sidelines.  We all had a great day.

District One was well represented along with the NARC&SP on two different days during the Stock Show Grand Entry.  On February 6^th. We arrived in full force for NARC&SP night.  We had many ride during the Grand Entry and more in the stands to cheer for us.  The press box was full of beautiful ladies from our District.  Excellent job girls!  The sparkles were beautiful.
