NARC & SP Members,

            Happy Valentines!!  I can’t believe it is already the second month of my reign as Miss NARC & SP.  It is all going by way too fast. 

            The Fort Worth Stock Show Parade was this past weekend.  I was watching the weather all week long, and all week long every channel said it was going to RAIN!! My birthday was the Friday before the Parade; needless to say I spent my 18^th Birthday worrying about what to wear and how I could find a white rain coat.  I just couldn’t believe it was going to rain on my Parade! 

             As my family and I were driving north on Highway 35 we came over a hill and all of a sudden the clouds parted and the sun was beaming off of the Downtown Fort Worth buildings.  My first appearance as the National Queen turned out to be absolutely PERFECT!  The only negative was that my cheeks hurt because I was smiling so much and it went by too fast!  I enjoyed every minute of this day and I could not have done it without the Association’s support, whether it was on horseback or in the crowd taking pictures.  Thank you everyone!  (That night Dianna Kuykendall said she saw Pepper and me on the Channel 4 News!)
