District One

Welcome to the NEW YEAR……..2004 should be a great and exciting year!

We held our 2003 Year End District Banquet on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the Midlothian Civic Center.  We had good food, great fellowship and much fun playing the guessing game trying to match up the baby pictures.  Congratulations for an Excellent Job to our former President, Denise Rowe for her dedication to the District.  Denise worked hard to provide us with a banquet to remember.  Thank you to her and her band of helpers.

Congratulations to the Hi Point, Runner-up and 2nd Runner Up Award Winners for 2003

Last but never least was the selection of our 2004 Princess……Miss Sarah Manning.

She gave a speech about herself to include her many accomplishments of playing the French horn, playing softball, and working with disability riders.  Sarah is ready to go.  She is planning to represent the District in the Fort Worth Stock Show Parade and Rodeo.  We support you Sarah.

Our prayers go out to the Norma Race, Roger Britt and Bob Hurt families….Heaven is a better place.

Until next month…………send the news………….Terrie Race (tarace@aol.com)
