Scholarship Application – for Members Only

Candidate Criteria:

1)      A correctly completed scholarship application, with all required information, postmarked by and/or received   by April 15, 2010 to the NARC&SP Secretary (indicated below in Item #6)

   2)      Applicant must:

      A. Be a current member of NARC&SP in good standing,

      B. Be a current or graduating high school senior,

      C. Be planning to attend a college, university or trade school and enrolling in a minimum of 6 credits per semester, OR a half time student at a trade school, AND

      D. Use the scholarship within 5 years following presentation.

3)      If the winner forfeit’s the scholarship for any reason, it will be awarded to the next candidate.

4)      The winner of the scholarship shall be invited to address the NARC&SP at either the October or January       Conventions following the award of the scholarship.

  C.   Transcripts and Letters of Recommendations:

         1) Attach a copy of your high school transcript

         2) Three (3) letters of recommendations:

            A) One letter being from one of your high school teachers,

            B) One letter from a NARC&SP member who is not a member of your family, and

            C) One letter from a friend who is not a member of your family.

  D. Summary of what NARC&SP has meant to you and how would you explain what NARC&SP is to a potential new member or a friend.
